Terms & Conditions

Please read the following carefully and in full before agreeing.

By participating in workshops or events held by or in association with Constellation Productions you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and Conditions.



  1. These Terms & Conditions apply to all Constellation Productions workshops, events and any additional products and/or services offered  by Constellation Productions and its partners.
  2. All participants are required to consent to these Terms & Conditions by signature or by ticking the acceptance box for these Terms & Conditions when submitting an electronic application form online. We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
  3. Any changes to these Terms & Conditions require the written consent or approval of Constellation Productions.
  4. “Course” or “Workshops” refers to a course of classes offered as part of a term or as one off classes run either by Constellation Productions or outside professionals.
  5. A “Term” refers to the normal academic time Constellation Production offers Courses. We currently offer three (3) terms: Autumn, Winter and Spring.
  6. “Participant” refers to any individual participating in any event or workshop run by Constellation Productions.




  1. Constellation Productions may, at its own discretion, refuse any participant entry to any workshop or event if it is felt that the participant’s behaviour is unacceptable.
  2. Constellation Productions reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and to the teaching staff from the advertised programme in the event of illness or other circumstances beyond our control.
  3. Where an event or workshop has to be cancelled by Constellation Productions, we will give as much notice as possible. In the event of a last minute cancellation, you will be notified by email, text message or other messaging service. Participants must ensure that they provide Constellation Productions with the correct contact information.
  4. In the event that a participant is unable to attend an event or workshop due to sickness, holiday or a decision by the participant not to attend, Constellation Productions regrets that it is unable to refund any payment.
  5. Participants agree that Constellation Productions is not responsible should you fail to complete workshops through lack of attendance or otherwise.
  6. These Terms & Conditions, together with any Acceptance Notice and Receipt constitute the entire agreement between the parties which supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.
  7. In the event that one or more of the provisions of the Agreement are found to be unlawful or otherwise unenforceable, those provisions shall be deemed severed from the remainder of the Agreement.




  1. Each participant’s place is allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Applications for courses or events must be accompanied by the appropriate payment/transfer, as set out for each course or event at the time of booking (“Deposit”).
  2. The deposit required for confirmation of a participant’s place on a course, workshop or event is 50% of the total cost unless otherwise stated. The deposit is non-refundable and will be retained by Constellation Productions.
  3. Times, dates, fees and all relevant course details for booked Constellation Production events/worshops/courses will be confirmed in the Acceptance Letter.
  4. The Balance must be paid in full, subject to any alternative agreements made with the Constellation Productions by or on the first day of the workshop or event, by one of the following methods where offered:  1. Bank transfer;
    2. Paypal 3. Cash 4. Cheque.
  5. Constellation Productions may, at its discretion, offer a discount of up to 10% for participants who have taken and completed a Constellation Productions workshop or event previously. Only one discount will apply to any one course at any given time.




  1. The personal data of a participant will be processed by Constellation Productions in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
  2. Constellation Productions owns all the rights, title and interest in and to its websites, including software, text and media and its trade marks, logos and brand elements. Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects or licences the ownership of these rights. Any intellectual property created during any course, workshop or event is the intellectual property of Constellation Productions.




  1. Participants attend any event, workshop or course at their own risk and are obliged to inform Constellation Productions and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition. Any known medical conditions must be stated at the time of booking and any changes to such information must be notified to Constellation Productions immediately in writing.
  2. If you are unsure whether you should participate in any activity please consult your own doctor before doing so.
  3. Participants must wear suitable footwear and clothing at all times.
  4. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that the emergency contact details on Constellation Production’s records are up to date.
  5. Participants are obliged to take care of their own belongings. Constellation Productions can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
  6. You acknowledge that the maximum aggregate liability of Constellation Productions to a participant under these Terms & Conditions shall not exceed the course, workshop or event fee to which a claim relates.
  7. The liability of Constellation Productions and that of its staff is restricted to teaching time only and then only to gross negligence.
